Isla Damas, or Damas Island, is a small island in Costa Rica in the vicinity of Quepos. It is particularly noted for its estuaries lined with mangroves.
This island is a remarkable place thanks in part to its great biodiversity of flora and fauna, especially for its estuaries full of mangroves. You can find here many species of exotic animals, like sloth bears, green iguanas, silky anteaters, crocodiles, caimans, white-face monkeys, boa constrictor, crab-eater raccoons, amongst others.
